Girls XC Takes 6th at HCC

Facing the tough Hoosier Crossroads Conference competition the Girls Cross Country team took 6th place out of 8 teams Saturday morning in Noblesville. However, very solid performances were put in by all of the girls, many coming away with personal best and season best times. Leading the way was Brooke Dixon, finishing as an All-Conference runner with her 4th place overall finish in an awesome time of 18:36! Running personal best times in the varsity race were Ali Ray (19:28), Sophie Britton (19:58), Alivia Gustrowsky (20:00), Kiley Van Ness (20:22), Faye Jessup (20:26), and Sarah Pitts (20:45). Great job to these girls and the entire team on some great racing! The girls will travel to Terre Haute on Saturday for the Nike Twilight Invitational.

In the JV race big races and fast times were the name of the game again as freshman Lindsay Huston lead the way for the Bulldogs in her best ever time of 20:58! Also putting up great finishes to get new personal best times were Anna Boone, Hannah Tippets, Ella Rock, Evelyn Wicket, Amy Christian, Karagan Edmonds, Katherine Newberry, Katherine Blanton, and Carmen Siebens. The JV girls will next compete in the Ben Davis Invitational this Tuesday.
