Varsity Volleyball at New Castle Invite

The Volleydogs ended their Saturday at the New Castle Invite with a win against Silver Creek. Brownsburg fell to New Castle and Fishers before gaining a win against Silver Creek. 

The first match against New Castle was lost 14-25, 15-25. 

Freshman Ella Hemmings was the defensive leader with 12 digs. Offensive leaders were freshman Quinci Thomas with 8 kills, seniors Ashley Margetts and Skyy Smith with 5 kills each, senior Katie Hardegree with 13 assists and junior Morgan Syoen with 7 assists. 

The second match vs. Fishers was lost 27-25, 23-25.

The Bulldogs won the third match vs. Silver Creek. 

Defensive leaders were senior Ashley Margetts with 16 digs, junior Maddie Smith with 15 digs, sophomore Audrey Naberhaus with 6 blocks and senior Skyy Smith and freshman Quinci Thomas with 3 blocks each. Offensive leaders were Margetts with 12 kills, Thomas with 10 kills and senior Katie Hardegee with 23 assists. 

The Bulldogs play on Thursday, September 19th at Fishers. JV and Freshman start at 5:30 PM with Varsity to follow.
