Girls Track Claims the B&O Bell On Senior Night

The girls track and field team defeated Avon on Senior night to bring home the B&O Bell with a final score of 87-45.The girls 4x800 of Brooke Dixon, Gabby Bische, Ali Ray, and Abby Lynch got the night started with a first place finish. Mackenzie Stien and Michaela Barrett had a 1-2 finish in the 100 hurdles. Abby Lynch placed first in the mile, Jordan Griffin and Isabella Maihofer took first and second in the 400. The girls swept the 300 hurdles as Senior Michaela Barrett placed first, followed by Annifa Kouton and Mackenzie Stien. In the 800, Brooke Dixon placed first with senior Gabby Bische in second. Senior Ali Ray took first place in the 3200 run with Emma Cougill scoring in third. The 4x400 relay of Jordan Griffin, Isabella Maihofer, Annifa Kouton, and Brooke Dixon finished in first. In the field events, Senior Te'a Nibbs placed first in the long jump with Natalia Dickerson scoring in third. Kaylee Price won the shot put with Katie Weldy in second. The girls swept the discus event with Senior Katie Weldy in first place, followed by Kaylee Price and Sophia Yohman. Noelle Hiatt was first in the pole vault. The girls travel to the Zionsville Invite on Friday night.
