Girls Track & Field Takes 7th at Indoor State

The girls track and field team finished 7th overall at the Indoor State Championships on Saturday. The distance medley relay of Abby Lynch, Michaela Barrett, Gabby Bische, and Brooke Dixon brought home the first place medals as they are our indoor State Champs! The girls broke the school record with a time of 12:12.72, just one second short of the all-time state record. Mackenzie Stien bested her school record time in the 60 Hurdles in 9.35 to earn all-state honors with an 8th place podium finish. The 4x400 relay of Jordan Griffin, Brooke Dixon, Michaela Barrett, and Abby Lynch broke the indoor school record with a time of 4:07.13 for a 6th place podium finish. Kaylee Price had a great day in the shot put with a new personal record throw of 37'3.25" to place 11th overall. Congratulations girls!
