Girls Track & Field Finishes 3rd at HCC Indoor

The girls track and field team finished 3rd in the HCC indoor meet on Saturday. The girls had several champions for the day. Mackenzie Stien once again got the meet off to a great start with her win in the 60 meter hurdles breaking her own school record with a time of 9.46. Annifa Kouton secured her spot in the finals with a 6th place overall finish. Te'a Nibbs had a big day in the high jump with a new personal best jump of 5'1" to earn her 1st place finish. Kaylee Price won her first ever shot put competition and is the HCC champ with a throw of 36'9.5"! The distance medley relay of Gabby Bische, Michaela Barrett, Brooke Dixon, and Abby Lynch set a new conference record with their first place time of 12.20.62. Other scorers for the Bulldogs were Lizzie Daniels with her 8th place finish in the 60 meters, the 4x200 relay of Jordan Griffin, Annifa Kouton, Mackenzie Stien, and Lizzie Daniels with a 4th place finish, the 4x400 relay of Jordan Griffin, Brooke Dixon, Isabella Maihofer, and Abby lynch with a 3rd place finish, Jylen Williams-Harris finished 3rd in the high jump, and Natalia Dickerson finished 8th in long jump, Great job girls on a great day of competition!
