Friday night the girls track and field team traveled to the Zionsville Invitational. There were 26 teams represented and the girls came home with the first place trophy!  The meet was very competitive as they had 16 new meet records. Our girls were able to claim a few of those. To start, Abby Lynch broke 3 records in the 800 as she set a new freshman, school and meet record with her time of 2:11.82! She was also the anchor of the 4x400 relay along with Angie Neddeau and Ally Becky. The girls set a new meet record with their state leading time of 3:59.51! Angie Neddeau also scored 10 first place points in the 400 with a personal best time of 60.79. Brooke Dixon also scored 10 points for the team in her personal best time in the 3200 with a time of 11:01.59. Mackenzie Stien had a Personal best night in the 100 hurdles as she was just short of the school record with her time of 15.61 for her runner-up finish. The 4x800 relay of Gabby Bische, Brooke Dixon, and Abby Lynch also took first place. Others with personal bests scoring for the bulldogs were Annifa Kouton in the 300 hurdles, Noelle Hiatt in pole vault, Katie Weldy in the discus, and Logan Lewis in the 200. The girls travel to Avon on Tuesday. Go Bulldogs!
