Girls T&F send three to state

The girls Track and Field Team Advanced 3 events to the State Finals! Lauren Rinehart is your Regional Champion in the 800 meters with a new school record of 2:14.49. Lauren will be seeded 4th heading into the State Finals. Joy Sopitan had a great night as she broke her 100 meter school record with a time of 12.60 to finish 9th. She then came back strong in the 200 meters and again broke her school record with a time of 25.51 to finish in 4th place. This time was fast enough to qualify for the State Finals on Saturday. The 4x800 relay of Lauren Rinehart, Carly Altier, Anna Boone, and Brooke Dixon ran their best time of the season to advance to the State Finals on Saturday with a 10th place seed. The 4x800 relay will compete first for the Bulldogs with a 4:15 start time at Indiana University. Good Luck Girls!
