Track and Field Wins

The Girls Track & Field team defeated Lebanon and Speedway Tuesday night with a final score of 118-48-2. Event winners for the night were the 4x800 relay of Michaela Barrett, Gabby Bische, Brianna Channon, and Anna Boone, Joy Sopitan in the 100 meters, Brooke Dixon in the 1600 and 800 meter run, Angie Neddeau in the 400 meters, Mackenzie Stien in the 300 hurdles, Sydney Montgomery in the 3200 meter run, the 4x100 team of Emily Britton, Mackenzie Stien, Skyy Smith, and Mackenzie Yoder, and the 4x400 relay of Brooke Dixon, Angie Neddeau, Mackenzie Barrett, and Michaela Barrett. Event winners in the field events were: Veronika Roberts in the discus, Kaya Hill in the long jump, Gabby Bische in the pole vault, and Michaela Barrett in the high jump. The girls are back in action Friday night at Decatur Central.
