Orioles Top Bulldogs
The Girls' track team came up just short against a talented Avon team on Tuesday evening. Mackenzie Harless continues to impress in the high jump as she took 1st place overall with a height of 5' 1". Senior Courtney Stull once again grabbed a 1st place finish in the 100m hurdles. Sophomore Sydni Montgomery ran a great race in the 2 mile and improved her personal best time by over 10 seconds while Rachel Graham also ran to her best time of the season. Senior Mackenzie Vondersaar had a great night as she fought hard and had a great finish to put up the team's 2nd best 800m time of the season. Finally Freshman Michaela Barrett once again continued to improve her best time in the 400m dash as she finished in a time of 1:02. Great job to these girls and keep working hard as you head into the Conference meet and post-season!
