Girls Track Runs to 5th Place

The Girls Track team traveled to Zionsville Friday night and came away in 5^th place out of 11 teams. Points leader for the evening was Sophomore Joy Sopitan who took 4^th place finishes in the 100m and 200m and was a member of the 4x100 relay team that took an exciting 3^rd as they continue to put up excellent times. It was new personal best times for a trio of distance runners as Freshmen Gabby Bische and Anna Boone both continue to drop their mile times significantly, while Emily Truax improved by over 20 seconds in the 2 mile race. Freshman Michaela Barrett also put up a personal best time in the 400m dash as she cruised the lap in a time of 1:02. Best of luck Tuesday as the team travels to Avon to take on the Orioles.
