JV Loss

The Girls JV Track team came up just shy of a victory against Westfield Thursday night at the BHS Track. Freshman Shanti Gregg lead the Bulldogs with two 1st place finishes in the 100m and 300m Hurdle races. Freshmen Kya Hill and Frannie Brewer both jumped personal best records in the long jump as they took home the 1st and 2nd place positions. Gianna Maihofer and Gabriella Maihofer both had great nights in the sprint events picking up several points for the team. Olivia Zoog Grabbed an exciting 1st place in the 2 mile, while her distance teammate Grace Esterline had a great come from behind victory, and her second personal best time in two days, in the 800m run. Alli Ray lead the Bulldogs in the 1600m taking 2nd place while Rachel Graham was close behind with a great time in 3rd place. Sophomore Joy Sopitan ran her first 400m dash ever and ended with a very nice time of 1:04 to take 1st place. Just a few of several other great performances came from Sophie O'Neil and Samantha Hinkle in the pole vault, Mystery Lebeter and Jade Herald in the sprints, Sarah Lents and Morgan Spears in the distance events. Great job to these girls and keep up the hard work!
