JV Win

On Saturday, the JV Tennis Team won the 2018 JV 8-Team Tennis Invitational for the third year in a row.  The Bulldogs did not lose a single match the entire day.  Isabelle Roberts was the champion at number 1 singles with dominating wins all three rounds.  At number 2 singles, Jaclin Thompson became stronger each round on her way to the championship.  Champion Marisa Petrunich, at three singles, displayed gritty stamina and disciplined strategy all day.  The number one doubles champs Heidi Doehrman and Sophi Naberhaus blew through the first round, staged a come back in the second round, and closed strongly in the last round.  Grace Thompson and Erin Campbell, at two doubles, went unchallenged in the first two rounds but battled through a third set tie-break in the finals to claim the championship.  The entire JV team has been quite the historic squad, putting together an UNDEFEATED season for the third year in a row, compiling a 37-0 record and collecting 3 JV Invite Championships!  Congratulations on a terrific season.
