Wolf Places 7th, Leman places 16th at IHSAA State Diving Championships

Junior Emma Wolf had an eventful Saturday. She started by breaking the Brownsburg 11-dive record of 453.25, previously set by Lauren Whitmore in 2002 by scoring a 459.95. This score also placed her in 7th place in State Championships. In preliminaries, Wolf ranked 9th with a score of 201.1. She improved to 5th in semi-finals with a score of 325.65, then ended finals in 7th with her record-breaking score of 459.95.

Senior Maya Leman placed 16th in the State with a score of 406.35. Leman placed 20th in preliminaries with a score of 186.20. A score of 307.65 moved her to 14th in semi-finals and she finished 16th with her 406.35.

Diving coach Zach Baldwin says, "The incredible work ethic and consistency of both Emma and Maya paid off this season. I am incredibly proud of both of these young women as they rose to the challenge and earned their places at the state meet."
