Girls' Swim/Dive Wins at Crawfordsville

The Bulldogs won their last regular season meet over Crawfordsville with a final score of 143-43. 

In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of junior Maria Scholz, senior Joley Clodfelter, senior Julia Stonebraker and sophomore Annika Schaekel won with a time of 1:59.54.

Junior Rory Smith won the 200 Free with a time of 2:06.38. Junior Maria Gutzweiler came in 2nd with a time of 2:08.76 and junior Ella Wilson came in 3rd with a time of 2:11.67. 

Sophomore Margaret Miller owned the 200 IM with a time of 2:18.87, dropping a huge 4.42 seconds. Freshman Callie Clodfelter came in 2nd with a time of 2:25.04 and senior Elise Dahlke came in 3rd with a time of 2:27.09.

In diving, junior Emma Wolf won with a score of 244.20, senior Hannah Truax came in 2nd with a score of 242.05 and senior Maya Leaman came in 3rd with a score of 231.40.

The Dogs continued with the trend of securing the top 3 spots in the 100 Fly. Junior Gutzweiler took 1st with a time of 1:04.90, freshman Clodfelter came in 2nd with a time of 1:07.33 and junior Scholz came in 3rd with a time of 1:10.04. 

In the 500 Free, senior Dahlke won with a time of 5:28.33. Junior Smith came in 2nd with a time of 5:39.40, dropping 4.14 seconds and sophomore Leah Kingery came in 3rd with a time of 5:47.20, dropping 4.96 seconds. 

The 200 Free Relay team of junior Gutzweiler, sophomore Schaekel, sophomore Erin Haycox and senior Dahlke won with a time of 1:46.75. 

Senior Erin Mehringer won the 100 Back with a time of 1:09.42. Senior Clodfelter came in 2nd with a time of 1:09.73 and senior Stonebraker came in 3rd with a time of 1:12.39. 

Sophomore M. Miller won the 100 Breast with a time of 1:12.68 and senior Courtney Kreilein came in 2nd with a time of 1:13.13. 

The team of senior Stonebraker, junior Wilson, senior Dahlke and sophomore M. Miller won the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:56.37. 

And just like that, the Lady Bulldogs have completed their regular season. Next Saturday, Feb. 1 the JV team will compete against Avon and Plainfield at Plainfield. The team will be preparing for IHSAA Sectionals, which begin on Thursday, Feb.6 at 5:30 PM.
