Sectional Champs

On Saturday the Bulldog swimmers and divers won their 4th sectional title in a row.  Brownsburg won by over 150 points over second place Pike.  The Bulldogs relied on their team depth with every swimmer and diver scoring in the top 7 and all three relays placing 2nd.

The lone winner on the day was Logan Replogle in the 200 IM.  Logan will advance to the IHSAA State Championship next week at IUPUI.  Divers Hannah Truax and Emma Wolf both placed in the top 4 and will advance to Tuesday's diving regional at Plainfield.

The runner-up relays for the Bulldogs were the 200 Medley Relay with Jenny Dreessen, Madison Mehringer, Bailey LaPaugh and Maria Gutzweiler, the 200 Free Relay with Elise Dahlke, Bailey LaPaugh, Joley Clodfelter and Maria Gutzweiler and the 400 Free Relay with Elise Dahlke, Maria Gutzweiler, Maranda Peak and Joley Clodfelter.

The 200 Medley Relay set the school record as well.

Top 3 finishers for the Bulldogs were - Joley Clodfelter with a 2nd in the 200 Free and 3rd in the 500 Free, Maranda Peak with a 3rd in the 200 Free and a 2nd in the 500 Free, Jenny Dreessen with a second in the 200 IM and 100 Back events, Elise Dahlke with a second in the 50 and 100 Frees, Hannah Truax 2nd in diving, Bailey LaPaugh 2nd in the 100 Fly, Rory Smith with a 2nd in the 100 Free, Abby Callis 3rd in the 100 Back, Madison Mehringer 2nd in the 100 Breast and Ava Davidson with a 3rd in the 100 Breast.
