The 26th Annual IHSAA Boys' and Girls' Soccer state tournaments will kick off during the week of October 7th.

Prior to postseason play, the IHSAA will release the draw for the tournament this Sunday during the 26th Annual IHSAA Boys & Girls Soccer State Tournament Pairings Show. The pairings show will air at 8 p.m. on IHSAAtv.org.

The Brownsburg Boys' and Girls' soccer programs are both apart of Class 3A Sectional 9 which features five other teams. Avon, Ben Davis, Decatur Central, Mooresville and Plainfield round out the field. This year, Mooresville will host the Boys' sectional while Decatur Central will play host to the Girls' side.

Boys' Soccer

Brownsburg comes into the postseason as the defending Sectional 9 champions. They defeated Avon and Plainfield en route to a regional semi-final appearance last year.

The Bulldogs have won 16 boys' soccer sectional championships, a number that ranks seventh in the state all-time. 2018 marked the first sectional title for the Bulldogs since 2015.

Brownsburg has a pair of games left in their regular season. They travel to take on No. 1 Zionsville on Oct. 1 before hosting No. 11 Noblesville for their regular season finale on Oct. 3.

The Bulldogs are 2-5-2 on the 2019 season.

Girls' Soccer

The Bulldogs are looking to win their first sectional championship since 2012. Last season, Brownsburg advanced to the sectional semi-final and fell to Avon on penalty kicks.

The girls were crowned sectional champions five times between 2007 and 2012 but haven't advanced to the sectional final since that stretch. Since winning their first sectional championship in 1995, the program has won it 11 other times.

Brownsburg is 7-5-3 on the season. They will wrap up their regular season slate on Oct. 3 when they host No. 12 Zionsville.
