The varsity girls soccer team moved to 5-3-2 as they fell to Plainfield 2-1 on Sept. 14. The match was played at the home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium.

Grace Crawford got Brownsburg on the board first with her fifth goal of the year. The Bulldogs attack forced the Plainfield goalkeeper off her line, opening the door for an empty-net chance from Crawford. She buried it to give Brownsburg a 1-0 lead at the break.

The Quakers used a pair of goals roughly seven minutes apart to sink the Bulldogs, with the first coming in the 45th minute off a goalkeeper on-on-one. The go-ahead goal came on the 52 minute off a shot from distance.

The Bulldogs offense would threaten a throughout the remainder of the second half to no avail. The Bulldogs outshot Plainfield 7-5 in the match.

Brownsburg will travel to McCutcheon for their next matchup on Sept. 16.
