Strong Start for Girls' Soccer

The Lady Bulldogs opened their 2018 campaign with an impressive 5-1 win over #11 national ranked Brebeuf on Saturday morning!  The Bulldogs came out hungry from the get go with relentless pressure and a willingness to set the tone from a work rate standpoint early on in the match.  It was only a matter of time before the Dogs would find the net and they did just that about 25 minutes into the match off a corner kick from Grace Crawford to Alex Harris.  This set a trend for the rest of the game as the Bulldogs scored on one more corner and another set piece in the match.  The Dogs walked out of there with their heads held high and a great win to build off of heading into next week! Goals on the day by Taelyn Hendrickson, Alex Harris, Grace Crawford, Mapuana Stephens, and Jayden Gibson.  Assists by Abby Lynch, Jayden Gibson, and Kylie Conrad.  The girls play next Tuesday night at Ben Davis in a non-conference road match.  JV starts at 5:30pm and Varsity starts at 7:00pm.  Get there to support the girls!
