Shamrocks Defeat Injury Plagued Dogs 4-1

The girls’ soccer team suffered a loss Wednesday evening at Westfield 4-1 after being tied 1-1 at halftime. 

The injury bug, which has decimated the Dogs this season, struck again as a Bulldogs player went down early in the match after hitting heads with a Westfield player. 

Thankfully, the reserve girls that have stepped up have provided much needed quality minutes the past few matches. 

Rio James scored the lone goal for the Dogs. 

The girls return to play Saturday against county and conference foe, Avon at home at 11:30am.
