Injuries Mount as Girls' Soccer Suffers Tough Weekend in Zionsville

The Girls' Soccer team had a tough weekend, losing to Brebeuf 0-1, Tates Creek (Ky) 3-4, and Lexington Catholic (Ky) 1-2.

With so many injuries, the team looked more like a M.A.S.H. unit than a soccer team, but in spite of all the injuries, the team played very, very well against two of the top ranked teams in Kentucky.

A few bright spots for the Dogs were Rio James scoring 4 goals, Hannah Mummert, fresh from the reserve team, notching her first varsity assist, and steady, great play from Savanna Bunn and Camille Gentile.

The team hopes to "right the ship" Wednesday on the road at Westfield.
