Lady Golfers Compete with Best in State

The girls' golf team took on two top-ranked teams in the state on Thursday, earning a win over Westfield and falling just short of beating #1 Zionsville with a score of 159 to the Shamrocks' 153 and Eagles' 163.  Two of the Bulldogs shared medalist honors, Hannah Thomas and Marissa Kier, shooting impressive 38's along with three other Zionsville players.  Solid performances came from the Leaf sisters, Kyleigh and Kamary, with 39 and 44.   Emily Breslin struggled but fought for a 47, and Tori Watson and Chloe Brumley finished the scoring with 48's. The varsity girls are back on the course again this weekend at the New Palestine Invitational.
