Golf Ends Regular Season with a Win

The Lady Bulldogs ended their regular season with a dazzling pre-sectional performance, beating the Panthers of North Central 154-189. Maddie Cody once again showed why she is one of the state's best golfers shooting a 35. Two strokes back was Macy Stapp carding a 37 that included a birdie on the difficult hole number eight. Emma Wilkins and Morgan Kier continued their fine play this season both shooting 41's. The fifth score of the night was Darcey Brinker's fine 42. Freshman Emily Breslin shot a 43 with consecutive birdies on hole numbers two and three. Also playing well for the Bulldogs were Kyleigh Leaf, Hannah Thomas, Lillie Gillespie and Chloe Brumley with scores of 47,47,48 and 50. The score of 154 was a season low for the Bulldogs on the front nine at West Chase. Girls sectional golf starts this Saturday at West Chase golf course. Come out and help us defend our turf.
