The Brownsburg varsity girls' basketball team defeated Zionsville 58-51 in the Bulldogs' final game of the 2019-2020 regular season. The win gave Brownsburg a 17-8 record heading into the IHSAA Girls' Basketball State Tournament next week.

Allison Bosse led the Bulldogs with a 22-point effort in the final regular season game of her Brownsburg career. Five other players also scored for Brownsburg in the win.

The score was tied at 6 early in the first quarter but the Bulldogs answered with a 32-12 first half scoring run. Brownsburg caught fire and took a 38-18 lead into the locker rooms.

Bosse nailed three 3's en route to 13 points in the first half.

The Bulldogs were able to hold off a late comeback attempt from Zionsville. The Eagles trimmed the Brownsburg lead down to just five points midway through the fourth quarter but Bosse and Mackenzie Stien both came up with big buckets that halted momentum for Zionsville.

The Eagles trimmed the lead back down to five with a minute to go but the Bulldogs would ultimately hold on for the win.
