The Brownsburg varsity girls' basketball team open their 2019-2020 campaign with a 58-40 win over Hamilton Heights on November 6th. It marked the fourth straight season in which the Bulldogs have been victorious in their season opener.

In her first high school basketball game, freshman Kailyn Terrell scored 10 points off the bench for Brownsburg. Ally Becki led the Bulldogs with 14 points in the win.

It was an ugly win that the the Huskies made the Bulldogs earn. Brownsburg outscored Hamilton Heights in every quarter but the Huskies hung around with a strong surge in the third.

Before all that, Allison Bosse jumped out of the gate with a pair of three pointers back in the first quarter. Terrell chipped in six points of her own in the first and Brownsburg led Hamilton Heights 19-9 after one.

Brownsburg led 29-18 at the break, but Hamilton Heights would make a solid push in the third quarter. The Huskies trimmed the Brownsburg lead to 7 points early in the third but Brownsburg would regain control and lead 44-29 after three quarters.

The double figure lead after three was enough to put away the Huskies in the fourth quarter.
