Dogs Advance to Championship by Defeating Cadets

On Thursday the girls' basketball team won their first game of the Hendricks Regional Health County Tournament against Cascade. Every player was an offensive threat- it was a true team effort! Stephanie Mavunga led the dogs in scoring with 17 points. Brooke Bronger had 8 points, including two three-pointers! Zhane Roper and Aliyah Walker both contributed 7 points. Chloe Dygert and Mackenzie Trout combined for 9 points and 7 rebounds while Natalie Kroll added a three-pointer! Hannah Mingus and Kayle Comer did a great job finding their open teammates with 3 assists each and Margaret Oles provided strong leadership and consistency as point guard throughout the entire game! The girls' record is now 9-3 and they will be fighting for their 10th win on Saturday for the Hendricks County Championship! GO DOGS!!
