Bulldogs Roll in 20-Point Win Over Center Grove

The varsity girls' basketball team improved to 6-2 on the season with a 68-48 win against Center Grove.  

Erika Lesch and Stephanie Mavunga jump started the offense scoring 15 of the Dogs' 20 first quarter points.  

The Dogs held the Trojans to just 17 first half points and led by nine at the break.  

The Dogs continued to display great offense in the final two quarters of action, scoring 40 points in the second half. 

Mavunga led the team with a game high 23 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, three steals and two assists.  Lesch also remained hot, hitting four three pointers and finishing the night with 14 points. 

Morgan Miller had seven assists and hit two free throws after a Center Grove technical foul. 

Ryne Carr added 11 points, hitting 5 - 8 from the field.  Carr also added three steals and dished out three assists. 

Lindsey Dall had a solid performance with seven points, and hit her first three of the season.  She also grabbed five rebounds. 

The Dogs will face Lafayette Harrison on Saturday night.
