JV Win

The JV purple softball team defended their home field against the Carmel Greyhounds on Wednesday evening with an 18-0 win in five innings.

Freshman Maddy Edwards threw five innings of dominating softball with eight strikeouts, one hit and one base on balls.

Offensively freshman Kiersten Huff, sophomore Tori Breckler and junior Rachel Young were 3-4 on the night respectfully with two RBI each. Huff and Breckler scored three runs each and Young scored two. Junior Camryn Cardinal was 2 for 2 with a homerun to left center and a line shot to right center for two RBI. 12 of 13 players had a hit to dominate the Greyhounds.

The JV purple ladies are next in action tonight at Southport to keep their 15 game win streak alive.
