JV Win

The JV Purple softball team moved to 13-0 for the season on Monday evening, at home, with a 14-1 victory over the Lawrence North Wildcats.

Freshman Maddy Edwards pitched a 10-run rule, five innings for the win. She allowed only one hit, had no walks and five strikeouts in a dominating performance.

Offensively the freshmen lead the way. Freshman Vivianne Harris was 3 for 4 scoring three runs with a double, three stolen bases and an RBI. Freshman Kiersten Huff was 3 for 4 scoring three runs, two stolen bases and an RBI. Every batter reached base for the night with a hit or a walk and eight different players scored a run.

The JV Purple ladies play tonight at home against the Noblesville Millers at 6:00 pm.
