JV Win

The JV White softball team traveled to Westfield on Thursday night, hoping to head into the weekend on a positive note.  And they did just that.

The Dogs got major production from the top four hitters in their lineup on their way to a 10-1 victory over the host Shamrocks.

Freshmen Macie "Lip" Gipson, Carmen "Sea Bass" Siebens, Natalie Metzger, and Taylor Ballinger combined for 8 hits and 9 of the team's 10 runs.

Defensively, the JV White squad handed the ball to Metzger in the circle and was rewarded with a complete game 4-hitter.  The crafty righthander stuck out two and walked none in picking up the win.

The JV White travels Saturday to participate in the Zionsville Invitational.  The first game is slated to begin at 10:00.
