JV Win

After losing to Mother Nature for the past week or so, the Brownsburg JV White softball team returned to action last night, defeating North Central 9-1 in a somewhat sluggish performance.

The highlight for the Dogs was the combined pitching performance of freshmen Natalie Metzger and Emilee Deitche.  Metzger pitched the first 3 innings, surrendering only two hits while striking out eight.  Deitche, meanwhile, also surrendered only two hits while striking out nine Panthers.

Offensively, Brownsburg White was led by the 3 for 4 night of freshman Makayla Mills, who also scored 3 runs and swiped 4 bases.  Freshman Mazie Blackmer also hit well for the Dogs, collecting 2 hits, including a triple, while driving home two runs and scoring three.

The JV White team returns to action on Wednesday, with a 5:00 tilt with Chatard.
