#18 Ranked Bulldogs Down Quakers

Last night the Brownsburg Varsity softball team clinched their 13th win of the season improving their record to 13-5 for the season. The #18th ranked Bulldogs won 8-5 against the Plainfield Quakers. Freshman, Olivia Calero pitched the contest for the Bulldogs, striking out 4.

Brownsburg scored a total of 8 runs throughout the 7 innings played. Four of those runs came from sophomore, Marah Wood who pinched hit in the 5th inning and hit a grand slam with a full count and two outs. Also, coming in clutch for the Bulldogs were seniors, Kyleigh Vaught and Clair Flick. Vaught had a double and 1 RBI, and Flick went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.

The Bulldogs will play again this Saturday at home against the Lebanon Tigers and the South Dearborn Knights. Game times are set for 10am and 12pm. Come out and support your Dogs!
