Raiders Top Bulldogs in Chilly Opener

The Brownsburg Bulldogs started off the season with an 11-4 loss to a very talented Lafayette Harrison team, Tuesday night.  The Bulldogs had an impressive 13 hits throughout the evening, but weren't able to string them together at the right time.  Senior, Clare Flick led the team on offense, going 3 for 4 on the evening, with a triple and two singles, as well as 3 RBIs. Junior, Anna Carroll was right behind her going 3 for 4, with a pair of singles and a double, with 2 runs scored. Mackenzie Bedrick and Haley Huff both contributed to the offense with 2 hits each and 1 run between the two of them. Sophomores, Sophie Bosket, Marah Wood, and Junior Maicey Bedrick all collected 1 hit apiece.  Senior Elissa Brown was the losing pitcher striking out 2 through 4 innings while Freshman, Olivia Calero made her first debut as a Bulldog pitcher striking out 1 during her 2 innings in the circle.

 

The Bulldogs are set to play their home opener against Western Boone this Thursday at 5:30pm.
