Boys XC Claims Sectional Title

On Saturday the boys cross country team started their post-season journey at the South Putnam Sectional. Going out hard from the start to set the tone and control the race worked to their advantage as they were able to hold off a charging Avon squad to secure the Bulldogs first Sectional crown since 2014.  Leading the way in 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th place were the trio of Alex Freeman, Tyler Nolan, and Trevor Nolan.  The surprise and difference-maker of the day came from Kole Kelley running 4^th on the team and finishing in 10^th place.  The scoring was rounded out by Jacob Kodrick in 12^th place.  These five individuals were also recognized as being "All-Sectional" for their performances.  The Bulldogs will compete this coming Saturday in the Ben Davis Regional vying for a spot at Semi-State.
