Two school records by Colquitt, Rice as track and field sweeps Lebanon, Speedway

A gorgeous night in Brownsburg as the Bulldogs hosted Leabon and Speedway. It was a big night as John Colquitt and Darrelle Rice both broke school records. Colquitt finished with a time of 21.83 in the 200M dash. Darrelle Rice who broke the school record in last weeks meet in the 100M dash, broke that same school record tonight with a time of 12.40. The Dogs would continue to dominate.

Boys

  • Brownsburg - 137.5

Girls

  • Brownsburg - 140

Events:

-Scotty Tienda cleared 6-6 on the High Jump setting a new personal best, and fifth all time in school history. 

-Dominic Calhoun finsihed first in the boys 100M dash.

-Darrelle Rice added another first place finish in the girls 200M dash. 

-Lindsay Huston and Josh Waggoner take first place in the boys and girls 1600M run.

-The Bulldogs 4X100, 4X400 and 4X800 boys and girls relay teams all finished in first place. 

-Eva Altschul and Haiden Diemer-McKinney took home first place in the 800M dash.

-Paige Kirtz and Jalen Larkey both took first place in the 400M dash.

-Sudharshan Srinivasan and Emily Baker finish first in the 3200M run. 

-100M hurdles first place finish from Heather Blue.

-110M hurdles first place finish from Frederick Hawthorne. 

-Shon Tupuola with a PR as he and Loria Snowden finished first in the shot put. 

-Shon Tupuola also took first in the discus, alongside Kindahl DeBrunner. 

-Emily Ritenour won the high jump event. 

-Noah Jessee and Ashlyn Schwab won the pole vault.

-In the long jump, John Colquitt and Quinic Thomas took first. 

Brownsburg returns to action Friday, April 15 on the road against Franklin Central. The meet is set to begin at 5 PM. The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 5 (girls) and No. 4 (boys) in the most recent IATCCC polls.
