Boys Track Wins the B&O Bell On Senior Night

The Bulldogs boys hosted Avon Tuesday night. The boys won the track meet 72-60. All three relays took home first place finishes which was a huge 15 points for the boys. The 4x800 meter relay team of Tyler Nolan, Bryan Lomax, Josh Limbil, and Alex Freeman ran 8:43 to take home a first place finish. The boys 4x100 meter relay team of Pierce Thomas, Gavin Waltz, Andrew Tetrick, and Shai Sumpter-Bey also won their event running 42.5 which was a season best. The 4x400 meter relay team capped off the night with a first place finish. Trey Fisher, Haiden Diemer-Mckinney, Luke Lacey, and Gavin Waltz ran 3:25.6 which was a season best for that event. Tyler Nolan won the 800 meter run and Pierce Thomas won the 200 meter dash. The Bulldogs had a strong showing in the field events. The boys swept the pole vault. Matt Albert won the event vaulting 11'6". Dane Middlebrook and Reis Thomas went 1-2 in the discus. Pierce Thomas won the long jump and Marcos Barbosa won the high jump. The Bulldogs are back on the track Friday evening as they travel to Zionsville to compete in the Zionsville Invitational.
