Boys Track Defeats Southport

The Boys Bulldog Track and Field Team was in action last night against Southport. The Boys won the day with a  final score of 75 to 57. In the field events, the boys swept the Pole Vault, the High Jump, the Shot Put, and the Discus. Justin Garnett won the Pole Vault with a vault of 10'1". Kyle Flandermeyer took 2nd and DJ Terrell took 3rd in the event. Eli Johnson won the high jump with a jump of 6'1". Richard Lang took 2nd and Jon Hammond took 3rd. Devin Humes won the Discus with a toss of 134'9". Kaiden Warren took 2nd and Reis Thomas took 3rd. Reis Thomas took 1st in the shot put with a put of 41'3/4". Alan Yip was 2nd and Devin Humes was 3rd. Corey Griffen won the Long Jump with a jump of 20'9.75". On the Track, Bryce Kirtz won the 200 with a time of 22.68. Bryce along with Leigh Nutall, Jon Hammond, and Eli Johnson won 4x100 meter relay with a time of 43.58. The Bulldogs swept the 400. Jacob Risser won the event with a time of 55.46. DeShaun Johnson was 2nd and Trey Fisher was 3rd. The boys will be back in action next Tuesday at home against Speedway/Lebanon.
