Boys Tennis Drops Close Match to Avon

The Bulldogs lost to Avon 2-3 tonight in a tightly fought battle.  Leading the way was Petar Petrovic with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Evan Reeder.  Also, seniors Adam Pritchard and Gunner Reffeitt won 6-2, 6-1 and improved their record to 5-0.  The match of the night came from seniors Carter Moore and Jake Petrunich who lost the first set 1-6, but staged an amazing comeback and won the 2nd set 7-6(4) before falling 6-4 in the 3rd.  The Bulldogs are now 2-3 and play at Westfield tomorrow.
