Boys Swim/Dive Beats Decatur Central

Last night the men's swimming and diving team finished their dual meet season with a win over sectional rival Decatur Central.

 

The Bulldogs looked good on the night with a 121 - 62 win.  There were a lot of Bulldogs in on the wins:

 

The meet started with a medley relay win from Nate Schaekel, Austin Kehr, Grayson Gutzweiler and Leister Perrin.

Will Scott won the 200 Free, Avaery Newman won the 200 IM and Caleb Peschke won the 50 Free before Kale Davidson won the diving.

 

After the diving break Lee Grimes won the 100 Fly, Austin Kehr won the 500 Free and the 200 Free Relay of Will Scott, Caleb Peschke, Noah Berryman and Jake Johnson won.

To finish the night, Nate Schaekel won the 100 Back, Leister Perrin won the 100 Breast and the 400 Free Relay of Scott Hasselbrinck, Caleb Anderson, Avarey Newman and Simon Koester was also a win for the Bulldogs.

The boys finished their season with a dual meet record of 9-4 and a third place finish at Conference.  They head into sectionals in two weeks.
