Bulldogs Win Bulldog Relays

On Saturday the Bulldog swimming and diving teams hosted the first ever Bulldog Relay Invitational.  It was a great chance for the teams to compete in a different atmosphere, as all the events of the day were swum in relay fashion.

The Buldogs won the meet over new HCC rival Franklin Central as well as sectional foes Decatur Central and Cardinal Ritter.  Lawrence Central and Roncalli were also in the meet.

The final scores for the girls meet were:

Brownsburg 157, Franklin Central 114, Roncalli 80, Cardinal Ritter 55, Lawrence Central 52 and Decatur Central 36.

For the boys the scores were:

Brownsburg 145, Franklin Central 116, Roncalli 78, Cardinal Ritter 58, Decatur Central 52 and Lawrence Central 37.

Members of winning relays for the day were:

Julia Stonbebreaker, Maranda Peak, Elise Dahlke, Maria Gutzweiler, Joley Clodfelter, Bailey LaPaugh, Jenny Dreessen, Logan Replogle, Madison Mehringer, Rory Smith, Hannah Truax, Emma Wolf, Arya Ziegler, Maria Scholz, Ava Davidson, Erin Mehringer and Courtney Kreilein.

For the boys, members of winning relays were:

Jack Kreilein, Noah Berryman, Austin Kehr, Devon Anderson, Scott Hasselbrinck, Lee Grimes, Will Scott, Simon Koester, Braden Jackson, Avarey Newman, Noah Pearson, JAWS Wilson and Simon Koester.

Both teams will travel to Pike on Tuesday night before heading into the County Championship next Saturday.
