Boys' Swim Team Scores Conference Win At McCutcheon

The Bulldog boys' swimming and diving team opened 2011 with a victory on Tuesday against the host McCutcheon Mavericks, 105-76.

Seniors Kyle Paquin, Eric Waggoner and Jared Woodings were all double winners on the evening. Paquin won the 100 Breaststroke and teamed with Waggoner, Woodings and sophomore Ben Fouch to win the 200 Medley Relay.  Waggoner and Woodings joined forces again, teaming with sophomore Harrison Hughes and freshman Jared Krug to win the 200 Freestyle Relay.  Seniors Matt Phillips (100 Backstroke) and Jared Sadtler (50 Freestyle) and junior Joel Paquin (100 Freestyle) were all single winners on the night. And freshmen Bradley Green and Donnie Spencer completed a one-two sweep of the 500 Freestyle.

The Bulldog boys (2-2) return to action on Thursday, January 6, hosting HCC foe Hamilton Southeastern at 6 p.m. at the Bulldog Aquatic Center.
