Bulldogs Swimmers Win Harrison Invitational

The Bulldog boys' swimming and diving teams ushered in 2011 on a victorious note, holding off Harrison to win the title.

The Bulldogs only topped the awards podium in one event but rode their depth to the title. Seniors Matt Phillips, Jared Sadtler and Eric Waggoner teamed with junior Joel Paquin to win the 200 Freestyle Relay.

Sadtler finished third in the 200 Breaststroke while Waggoner finished second in the 100 Freestyle. Paquin and Waggoner teamed with junior Brian Collins and sophomore Kasey Cross to finish third in the 400 Freestyle Relay.

The Bulldog boys (1-2) return to action on Tuesday, January 4, opening the New Year with a visit to Hoosier Crossroads Conference rival McCutcheon. The contest with the Mavericks begins at 6 p.m.
