Boys' Swim Team Picks Up First Win of Season

The Bulldog boys' swimming & diving teams got on the winning track Thursday night, posting a convincing victory over Hendricks County rival Danville.  The Bulldog boys rode their depth to a 114-72 win over the Warriors.

Senior Eric Waggoner led the charge for the Bulldog boys, winning the 200 I.M. and 100 Backstroke, and anchoring the winning 400 Freestyle Relay after strong legs from juniors Brian Collins, Joel Paquin and Joe Perkins.

Collins was the individual winner in the 200 Freestyle and was part of a 1-2-3 sweep in the 100 Butterfly bracketed by senior winner Jared Woodings and senior Kyle Paquin. Paquin and Woodings teamed with seniors Matt Phillips and Jared Sadtler to win the 200 Freestyle Relay.

The boys (1-2) return to action on Saturday, December 18, hosting the Hendricks County Championships at the Bulldog Aquatic Center. Diving prelims begin at 8 a.m., with swimming and diving finals beginning at 12:30 p.m.
