Boys' Swimming Team Opens With 2nd Place Finish at Greenfield

The Bulldog boys' swimming & diving team participated in the "Leftover Turkey" Relays at Greenfield Central High School on Saturday, and were closely outdueled by host Greenfield Central 48-44.

Junior Joel Paquin and freshman Jared Krug led the boys with two victories each. Paquin teamed with classmate Brian Collins to win the 1,000 Freestyle Relay and teamed with Krug and senior Eric Waggoner to win the 600 Freestyle Relay. Krug's second win on the day came in the Crescendo Freestyle Relay, teaming with seniors Kyle Paquin, Matt Phillips and Jared Woodings.

Senior Mike Fouch and freshmen Bradley Green and Donnie Spencer won the 300 Butterfly Relay.

The Bulldogs open their dual meet campaign Tuesday night, hosting Hoosier Crossroads Conference rival Zionsville at the Bulldog Aquatic Center at 6 pm.
