Bio

Sean McGrath was hired as the head coach of Brownsburg boys soccer in December of 2021. 

McGrath came to Brownsburg after spending nine years as a soccer coach in Pike Township, including four years as the Pike Girls' Soccer Varsity head coach. McGrath has also led highly succesful club soccer teams at United Soccer Alliance of Indiana and Indy Premier. 

A 2008 graduate of Pike, McGrath led the Red Devils as a four-year letter winner and member of four conference-title winning teams during his high school playing career. McGrath was a two-time all-state selection and three-time all-conference selection as a Red Devil. McGrath, a two-time team captain, set the Pike career assist record (68) while scoring 33 goals in his career. He started 78 consecutive games, also a school record.

Following a highly decorated high school career McGrath played under legendary collegiate head coach Bobby Clark at Notre Dame from 2008-2011 and at IUPUI for one season. McGrath was a part of Notre Dame's Big East Conference championship in 2008 and three NCAA tournament appearances 2008-2010. At IUPUI, McGrath played in 15 matches for the Jaguars during the 2012 season. 

McGrath played semi-professionally for the Madison 56ers National Premier Soccer League and earned an opportunity to play for Indy Eleven, Indianapolis' professional soccer franchise.

He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelors degree in sociology and recieved his masters from Indiana University in criminal justice and public safety management.
