Boys' Soccer Beats Fishers

After missing 2 games to weather last week, the #15 Bulldogs were eager to return to the pitch and face off against #8 Fishers. Their eagerness showed early as Noah Yohannes netted a goal within the first 3 minutes. Jacob Risser followed up with two goals of his own in the next 9 minutes to give the dogs a 3-0 early in the game. Brilliant midfield play by JD Jarvis, Axel Perez, and Brandon Crawford helped the Bulldogs control the rest of the first half and take the comfortable lead into halftime. The second half saw the Tigers throw more attackers forward, but stonewall defense by Ayres, Humbert, Callahan, Gammon, Newberry, and Metzger, along with Berry in goal, help to preserve the shutout. The Bulldogs move to 6-2 on the season, 3-1 in HCC play, and return to the field Thursday night at Ben Davis.
