Boys' Soccer Starts the Season Strong

The senior heavy Bulldogs opened the 2018-2019 campaign last night hosting the county and Sectional rival Plainfield Quakers. From the opening whistle, Brownsburg controlled the game, and thanks to some stellar saves by the Quaker keeper, only went into the half up 1-0 thanks to a Brock Holder goal. The second half turned into a bit more of an offensive affair with the Bulldogs finding the net four more times on tallies from Axel Perez, Noah Yohannes, Drew Metzger, and Gabe Chumley to earn a 5-0 victory. Jake Berry and Andrew Boulton, along with a disciplined defensive unit, combined for the clean sheet in goal. The Bulldogs travel to Lawrence Park to face Cathedral on Thursday.
