Bulldogs Open with a Win Over Plainfield
The varsity boys' soccer team opened up the 2017 campaign by traveling to county rival Plainfield. Patrick N'gbesso opened up the game early putting the Dogs up 1-0. After an unfortunate error, the Quakers tied the game up and went into the half 1-1. After some halftime adjustments and an increased effort on the field, Jacob Risser, Brandon Crawford, Noah Yohannes, and Axel Perez all notched second half goals to bring the final tally to 5-1. The Dogs will meet Cathedral on the pitch tomorrow in their home opener
at 7:00.
