Dogs Lose Close Game to Eagles

The Bulldogs lost a close game to the Zionsville Eagles with a final score of 39-42. 

The Dogs held a lead the entire first half, but the final quarter gave the Eagles enough momentum to take a slight lead and eventually a 3 point win. 

Junior Pierce Thomas ended his night with 18 points, including a last minute 3-pointer that held the Dogs up in the 1st quarter. Thomas also had 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Senior Connor Lucas continued to step up with 13 points against the Eagles, 9 of which were 3-pointers. Junior Luke Lacey had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Juniors Tyray Lackey and Talibe Diallo had 2 points each. Lackey added 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

The boys are back on the road tomorrow, Saturday Feb. 1, with a long trip to Terre Haute South Vigo. JV will begin at 6 PM with Varsity after.
