@bhsdogsbhoops Heat Up in the Second Half Against Ben Davis

The Bulldogs came back after a slow 1st half against the Ben Davis Giants with a halftime score of 16-17 with the Giants leading.

In the 1st quarter, senior Malek Edmonds had 2 points, senior Connor Lucas had 5 points, junior Pierce Thomas had 2 points and senior Jakobi McGowan had 1 point. The 2nd quarter saw only 6 points. Senior Edmonds had 2 more points, juniors Tyray Lackey and Quentin Bragg had 2 points each. 

The Dogs brought the heat in the 2nd half of the game, adding 23 points in the 3rd quarter alone. In the 4th quarter, the Dogs wrapped up the game for a 10 point lead for the final score of 53-43. 

Overall, senior Malek Edmonds had a total of 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Junior Pierce Thomas had 12 total points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Senior Connor Lucas had 10 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Senior Jakobi McGowan ended with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.

Junior Quentin Bragg had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist. Juniors Luke Lacey and Tyray Lackey had 2 points each. Lacey had 5 rebounds and 2 assists as well. 

The Dogs take some time off for the holidays, but will be back on Saturday, Dec. 28. The team will face off against Muncie Central in Varsity Fieldhouse with JV starting at 6:00 PM and Varsity to follow.
