Bulldogs Win Danville Tournament

The Brownsburg Freshman Basketball Team had an exciting weekend as they competed in the Danville Holiday Tournament. The Bulldogs won their first game against Tri-West, 39-20. The Dogs were led by Ean Alexander 14 points and two steals; Derek Fudge eight points, four steals, and two assists; and Marquis Johnson six points and five rebounds. Shon Tupuola contributed four points, Spencer Howard added three points, Matt Scholz and Tabyas Grant added two points each. Uriah Wade had a nice showing by adding five rebounds and three assists to the Bulldog victory.

The Dogs then battled Danville in the championship game where they claimed their sixth win on the season, 46-27. Leading the Bulldogs were Nick Ponti 12 points, Ean Alexander 11 points, and Derek Fudge nine points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Willis Smith added six points; Tabyas Grant contributed four points and four assists; Corbin Daulton and Uriah Wade each added two points. Marquis Johnson showed his rebounding ability by securing five rebounds.
